As a Director, IT Product Management Senior, you will lead product strategy, delivery, and lifecycle performance for technology-enabled financial products and services. You will lead a team of product managers, product owners, business analysts, UX designers and documentation specialists. You’ll partner across business, technology, and client-facing teams to drive innovation, enhance product capabilities, and deliver measurable business value.
In this role, you will guide complex decisions that require sound judgment, business acumen, and the ability to evaluate ambiguous or intangible factors. You will influence priorities across teams, shape evaluation criteria for projects and programs, and help ensure delivery aligns with business, budget, and schedule commitments.
Product Strategy and Delivery:
- Lead product strategy, roadmap execution, and lifecycle performance.
- Use client, market, and business insights to guide product direction.
- Partner across teams to prioritize work and deliver enhancements.
Operational Leadership and Governance
- Own planning, staffing, budgeting, and expense priorities.
- Turn strategic goals into clear plans, priorities, and measures.
- Improve processes, governance, and risk management practices.
Leadership, Influence, and Impact
- Guide complex decisions and align delivery to business, budget, and schedule commitments.
- Engage executives, customers, and senior stakeholders on priorities.
- Influence partners and align cross-functional teams.
- Apply organizational and industry expertise to shape direction.
What you have
To ensure that we fulfill our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of product management experience, with a demonstrated track record of delivering measurable business results.
- Proven experience leading high-performing teams and enabling successful execution across complex initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Technology, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant industry designation (ASPPA) or professional designation such as CFA or CPA is desirable.
- Strong understanding of retirement plan practitioners’ roles, responsibilities, operational processes, risks, and client needs.
