We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to design, build, and maintainsecure Java based systems that support our critical business functions. The ideal candidate delivers high quality, efficient, and testable code while adhering to established architectural standards. This role is well suited for someone who demonstrates strong technical expertise, a commitment to continuous improvement with AI tools, and the ability to collaborate across teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to technical design, development, and implementation of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems.

• Ensure deliverable meets the standards with respect to code quality, unit test cases, and best coding practices for all code implementations.

• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

• Develop Proof-of-Concept projects to help create reusable patterns for development.

• Need to have experience in preparing high level design, system design documents, architecture documents or similar documentation and securing approvals from architect team.

• Should be independent and work with minimum guidance. Might need to coordinate with the offshore development team and tester.

• Experience with configuring automated builds and deployments with tools such as GitHub Actions, Bamboo, Jenkins, or Travis CI

• Preferable to have some exposure to front end design and coding experience with Angular or similar tools.

• Write unit test cases for all code implementations. 

• Follow all guidelines for secure development practices. 

• Participate in all agile ceremonies and help the leadership team.

Required Qualifications

• 4-6 years of work experience or bachelor’s degree with 4+ years' experience

• 4 years of Application development experience with J2EE (Java 17 preferred), Spring framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Batch), Splunk/DataDog

• Experience with SQL/NoSQL (Oracle, MongoDB 5.0 etc.)

• Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, distributed systems, and integration patterns (RabbitMQ, KAFKA)

• Experience with Unit Testing Framework (Junit)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.

• Knowledge of Agile methodology and experience in a Scaled Agile environment

• Understands security, scaling, performance, and availability concerns.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and communicate technical concepts clearly.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with cloudnative development, or containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

• Experience with continuous build process using GitHub Actions, Bamboo, Jenkins

• Familiarity with performance engineering, monitoring, and related tooling (e.g., AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, PCF metrics).

• Experience with modern development practices such as test-driven (TDD) or behavior driven development (BDD)

• Familiarity with test frameworks like Cucumber, Selenium

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
