Schwab Technology Services (STS) is advancing the integration of AI capabilities across the Software Development Life Cycle, creating an opportunity to help shape how modern engineering practices are adopted at enterprise scale.

In this role, you will lead an AI development team focused on delivering solutions that improve product quality, strengthen developer consistency, and increase engineering productivity. You will also oversee STS lower environments, helping ensure availability, support, and operational stability for critical development and testing needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of AI-enabled solutions that improve product quality, strengthen engineering consistency, and increase developer productivity across the organization.
• Oversee lower environment availability, support, issue management, and operational stability for development and testing teams.
• Partner with engineering, architecture, and platform teams to integrate AI capabilities into existing development workflows, standards, and toolchains.
• Use feedback from developer communities and stakeholders to refine solutions, improve adoption, and maximize business and technical value.

What you have

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience leading and managing IT teams, including project management, resource management, and offshore resource coordination.
• 5+ years of experience leading medium to large, complex projects with multiple dependencies.
• 2+ years of experience managing and supporting lower environments or equivalent enterprise technology solutions.
• Experience working in the financial services industry.
