The Wealth Management Learning & Coaching (WML&C) Group is responsible for empowering our sales professionals to build trusted relationships and deliver modern wealth management to our clients through world class learning experiences. Our goal is to enable increased engagement and retention of clients, enhance confidence in the professionals we support and improve overall sales professional performance.
The Director role is a key enabler to support the group in these efforts. This person works closely with Wealth Management Learning & Coaching leaders to articulate the learning strategy, coordinate partners to support socialization and support and prepare presentations for executive leadership. This role reports to the Managing Director, Wealth Management Learning & Coaching.
Responsibilities include:
- Help define and document the learning and coaching strategy for the sales channel.
- Support the implementation of the strategy by coordinating and managing specific execution of work streams across the learning and coaching organization and key partners/stakeholders to facilitate organizational consistency.
- Coordinate quarterly business updates for key Sales and Retail Experience executives and associated executive partners (e.g., Retail leadership, WAS leadership, Schwab Center for Research) that articulate business focus areas and key outcomes.
- Work closely with other Sales Operations leaders and key internal partners to ensure alignment and coordination across related initiatives.

- Demonstrated experience building relationships and working with cross-functional teams to design and deliver client experience initiatives, including evaluating opportunities and making recommendations based on the unique needs of the business.
- Comfort dealing with ambiguity in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, including being able to synthesize data, develop cohesive business cases and recommendations, influence partners and create and deliver compelling presentations.
- Ability to consult with leaders and create compelling visuals in PowerPoint and Word
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Diligent with superior project management skills and the ability to multi-task and work efficiently to meet deadlines on an independent basis.
- Ability to gain the respect and support of senior leadership, partners and peers in delivering against our strategy
Additional Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Must have 7+ years of project management, consulting, strategy, and or sales operations experience
- Must have strong experience in PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook required
- Financial Services industry experience is highly preferred
- Experience with Salesforce is highly preferred
