As a Fundamental Equity Analyst, you will join an experienced and highly collaborative investment team focused on delivering differentiated research insights and supporting the management ofThomasPartnersinvestment strategies and Schwab active equity mutual funds. In this role, you will conduct rigorous fundamental, bottom-up equity research to evaluate current and prospective portfolio holdings, develop investment recommendations, and uncover opportunities across assigned sectors and industries.

Success in this role requires strong analytical thinking, sound judgment, and the ability to translate complex financial information into actionable investment insights. You will build andmaintaindetailed company forecasts, assess industry and business drivers, evaluate valuation assumptions, and develop price targets that support portfolio decision-making. Working closely with investment professionals across the team, you will contribute to research initiatives, support investment-related projects, and help drive continuous improvement in research processes and systems.

This role also offers the opportunity to collaborate with client service and distribution partners by helping communicate investment perspectives and responding to inquiries. What you have


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • CFA designation and/or MBArequired.
  • 7+ years of experience as a fundamental equity analyst within an institutional investment environment.
  • Strong financial statement analysis, accounting, and financial modeling capabilities.
  • Experience developing company forecasts, valuation models, price targets, and investment recommendations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly explain complex financial and quantitative concepts.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking and sound decision-making skills when evaluating complex or ambiguous information.
  • Experience using Bloomberg, FactSet, and related investment research platforms.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectivelyina collaborative team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Experience researching multiple sectors or industries and developing differentiated investment insights.
  • Demonstrated curiosity, adaptability, and a continuous learning mindset.
  • Experience supporting client-facing discussions or communicating investment perspectivestointernal or external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability toidentifyemerging investment opportunities through independent research and critical thinking.
  • Passion for financial markets and long-term investing.
  • High levelof integrity, accountability, and professional maturity.

In addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
