This is a senior individual contributor role that will work across the Client Authentication team and Schwab Authentication and Fraud Ecosystem to establish a data-driven strategy for Client Authentication to combat fraud, align key stakeholders with that strategy, and work with Client Authentication Product Managers and Product Owners to execute on that strategy. This person will also bring an external perspective into the work, researching vendors and emerging technologies as well as developments among competitors and analyst perspectives across the market. This role will also work across teams to ensure that we have the data necessary to make strategic decisions, and work with teams to ensure that the right instrumentation, data, and reporting is available to implement the Client Authentication strategy.

Qualifications

▪ Customer Identity product organizations, including direct leadership roles involving fraud detection and mitigation capabilities.
▪ Vendor selection and management, including RFP development and leading build/buy/partner decisions across a matrixed organization.
▪ Developing and executing strategic enterprise priorities, coordinating and communicating across multiple stakeholder groups
▪ Big Data analytics, especially in the context of fraud detection and mitigation.
▪ Synthesizing industry, market, and competitive intelligence with existing and emerging standards and regulations to influence strategy
▪ Work autonomously to drive strategic achievement

▪ Ability to communicate key information with stakeholders across a matrixed organization and varying levels of seniority to ensure successful outcomes via verbal presentations, individual or group conversations, and precise, influential written communications that resonate with intended audiences.
▪ Foster innovative solutions and contingency plans, promoting creativity, experimentation, and strategic thinking without having direct reporting responsibility.
▪ Exert executive influence to drive enterprise-wide direction and optimize partnerships.

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
