Charles Schwab Trust Bank (CSTB) provides retirement plan trust and custody services to Independent

Recordkeepers, Registered Investment Advisors, and Third-Party Administrators, and is recognized as an industry

leader in delivering retirement plan solutions through intermediary relationships.

The Trust Bank Conversions Manager plays a highly visible role in onboarding new business to Charles Schwab Trust

Bank and delivering a seamless experience for clients and internal partners. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end

conversion experience for Schwab Retirement Advisor Portfolio (SRAP), SRAP Collective Investment Trust (CIT), and

other account conversion types, ensuring new plans are opened accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with

operational and compliance requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong individual contributor who brings

retirement plan expertise, broker-dealer knowledge, project leadership, and a passion for solving complex business

challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day execution of end-to-end SRAP and SRAP CIT conversion initiatives, driving momentum,

resolving obstacles, and influencing successful outcomes in an individual contributor role

• Oversee a portfolio of concurrent conversions by managing timelines, coordinating milestones, and ensuring

timely, accurate, and compliant execution across workstreams

• Apply strong attention to detail to validate requirements, identify gaps, and enhance documentation, controls,

and workflows that improve operational quality and consistency

• Serve as a trusted subject matter expert for SRAP and SRAP CIT conversions, providing guidance and direction

in Sales, Conversions, and Office Hours engagements

• Lead onboarding activities for investment advisor firms joining the Charles Schwab Trust Bank platform,

including research, issue resolution, and coordination of data file requirements related to new setups, mergers,

and acquisitions

• Partner with Advisor Services and other stakeholders to coordinate onboarding requirements for new SRAP

setups, ensuring alignment, follow-through, and timely delivery of key milestones

• Research complex onboarding scenarios and provide consultative recommendations for advisor setup needs,

including solutions for Options, Managed Accounts, Trade Away, and Prime Brokerage arrangements

• Demonstrate leadership through knowledge sharing, guidance, and informal mentoring that builds team

capability and supports accurate, confident execution of SRAP and SRAP CIT conversion activities

• Build strong cross-functional partnerships and influence stakeholders across the organization to support

seamless conversions, effective change management, and consistent client outcomes

• Coordinate Conversion Analyst to Customer Service Manager handoffs with precision and accountability to

ensure continuity, clarity, and a seamless advisor experience

• Represent Schwab with a professional, solutions-oriented presence that builds trust, strengthens partnerships,

and supports effective collaboration across multiple departments

• Continuously expand business knowledge, identify emerging challenges, and develop practical solutions that

improve outcomes and support evolving business needs

What you have


To ensure that we have fulfilled our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience

• 5+ years of experience in banking or financial services; experience supporting employee benefit plans,

trust/custody, or recordkeeping is strongly preferred

• FINRA Series 7 preferred

• 3+ years of client-facing experience required

• Strong understanding of rules governing qualified and non-qualified retirement plans

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to research issues, identify root causes, and

recommend solutions

• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and

accuracy

• Collaborative, solutions-oriented professional with the ability to build strong relationships and drive alignment

across teams

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
