A Specialist for the SDE Trading Team within Charles Schwab Trust Bank will work with various internal and external business partners to facilitate daily mutual fund trading, dividend processing, and corporate actions for the department. This role provides the opportunity to innovate, streamline processes, and reduce risk while supporting daily processing of trade activity, dividends and corporate actions. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, curiosity, attention to detail and thinking in an unexpected way are a must. Candidates will need to communicate effectively within a team environment located across the United States.
You will be:
Establishing and maintaining relationships both within the department and across organizations/enterprises
Notice anomalies in day to day process and help identify process improvements that lead to improved efficiencies and a greater business partner and client experience
Uses knowledge of functional area to assist team with strategy and process development
The required hours for this role are as follows:
Pacific time: 10:00am/10:30am-7:00pm
Central time: 12:00/12:30pm-9:00 PM
You will be onsite 4 days a week and able to work remote 1 days per week.

Required Qualifications
Ability to work evening hours and overtime as needed for SDE coverage and Month/Year end dividend processing
- 2-4 years of retirement industry experience required, with an emphasis on Trading Operations
Track Record of Mutual Fund Trading, Corporate Actions, and Dividend Processing
Knowledge of Trust3000 and Legacy systems
Ability to collaborate across multiple levels of the organization
Demonstrated analytical skills that include the ability to research and resolve issues to completion
Adaptability to a constant changing work environment the face of day to day changes to processes
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proven ability to effectively communicate to internal and external business providers
Preferred Qualifications
BA/BS preferred
Advanced Excel Skills including functions (vlookup/sumif/pivot tables) required, Macro building skills a plus
