As part of the Trader Events & Experience team this role plays a critical role in creating scalable educational content that strengthens client engagement across the firm’s retail investing products and services. The Video Production Lead connects business objectives to education by designing and producing long and short form content that helps our clients “Own Their Tomorrow”. In this role, you will own and evolve the production of our daily Trader based webcasts and support our social media strategy by creating content that meets the programs goals and positively showcases the Schwab brand. You will be responsible for ensuring our on-air talent has the facilities and tools needed to look and sound their best so they can fully focus on the quality of their content delivery. You will also partner with our in-person event organizers to develop social media and promotional content that highlights and enhances the marketing of those events.

What you have

To ensure that we fulfill our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.

Required Qualifications 

• Have 5 years of experience in a live video production environment
• High proficiency with live video production software and tools (Live streaming encoders, video switchers, audio mixers, automation tools)
• High proficiency with post-editing video and graphics design software (Adobe Premier Pro and Creative Cloud suite)
• Knowledge of and experience working with A/V production hardware (cameras, lighting, audio, etc.)
• Familiarity with remote video production workflow and solutions (vMix, Zoom, Webex, MS Teams, YouTube, RTMP, NDI & SRT A/V protocols)
• Be a digital content expert who thinks conceptually, solves problems creatively, and can produce everything from livestreams to recorded videos to podcasts
• Demonstrated ability to thrive under pressure. Most of our content and events are delivered live. There will be challenges to work around and you should be able to strategically do so in a calm demeanor.
• Have at least 1 year of Schwab domain experience gained as a current or recent contractor or employee

Preferred Qualifications 

• Proven ability to connect business strategy to digital content solutions that scale across platforms and channels
• Experience working in complex delivery environments with dependencies, governance frameworks, and capacity constraints
• Experience operating in regulated environments where compliance, approvals, and structured workflows influence delivery

In addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
