Sr Manager, Strategy & Initiatives
Your Opportunity
Schwab remains committed to providing increased visibility to career growth opportunities and job requirements. This posting announcement is part of increased transparency and while all qualified applicants will be reviewed and considered, this organization has a preferred candidate identified for this role.
At Schwab, you're empowered to make an impact on your career. Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us challenge the status quo and transform the finance industry together.
We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate to work on-site in the specified location(s).
Client Service & Support (CS&S) is Schwab's primary service and trading organization, focused on delivering exceptional client experiences while developing engaged professionals and leaders. The BetterWay to Excellence (B2E) operating system helps create organizational effectiveness by strengthening leadership capability, improving operating rhythms, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
The BetterWay to Excellence (B2E) Coach serves as a strategic leadership and organizational effectiveness partner to leaders across Client Service & Support.
Through coaching, observation, facilitation, and capability development, the B2E Coach helps leaders strengthen coaching effectiveness, improve operating rhythms, develop leadership capability, and drive sustainable behavioral change that improves business outcomes.
The B2E Coach partners closely with Elevated Directors, Directors, and Managers to identify opportunities, prioritize areas of focus, and develop practical approaches that improve organizational effectiveness. Rather than owning improvement efforts on behalf of the business, the B2E Coach helps leaders build the skills, habits, and systems necessary to sustain continuous improvement within their own organizations.
This role supports the advancement of B2E practices, reinforces SPARK coaching expectations, and helps leaders connect strategic priorities to day-to-day execution. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted thought partner who influences leaders, develops capability, and helps create environments where accountability, ownership, coaching, and development become part of how work gets done.
Success in this role is measured by the capability and effectiveness of the leaders and organizations supported. Successful B2E Coaches strengthen leadership capability, improve coaching quality, increase adoption of B2E and SPARK practices, improve organizational operating rhythms, and help create sustainable improvements that continue long after direct B2E involvement has ended.
