The Sr. Manager, Cloud Engineer Senior is responsible for setting technical direction and driving the delivery, reliability, and evolution of enterprise cloud and container platforms. This role combines deep technical expertise with program leadership to architect, implement, and operate scalable, secure, and production-ready solutions across platforms such as PCF, Kubernetes, GCP etc.

The role partners closely with engineering, infrastructure, security, and production support teams to influence strategy, lead complex cross-functional initiatives, and establish standards that improve operational resilience, automation, and time-to-market.

Key Responsibilities

Program Leadership & Delivery:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-workstream initiatives that impact enterprise cloud and infrastructure services.
  • Define delivery strategies, execution plans, risk mitigation, and dependency management across platforms.
  • Influence stakeholders through strong technical judgment, data-driven insights, and clear communication.

Infrastructure & Platform Operations:

  • Own operating system and platform lifecycle strategies, including end-of-life remediation and currency initiatives.
  • Drive patching, compliance, and production-readiness standards across cloud environments.
  • Partner with Production Readiness and Release teams to ensure successful go-live and operational handoff.
  • Establish and maintain accurate platform inventories and operational metrics.
  • Provide technical leadership for Kubernetes-based platforms, including cluster architecture, capacity planning, and reliability.
  • Guide the use of GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks to enable secure and scalable delivery.
  • Promote DevOps and DevSecOps practices across the SDLC.

Strategic Planning & Continuous Improvement:

  • Contribute to PI planning, quarterly execution, and roadmap alignment across Cloud (PCF, GCP) and container platforms.
  • Identify systemic gaps and lead improvements that increase automation, resiliency, and operational efficiency.
  • Champion standardization and best practices across teams and platforms.

Documentation & Standards:

  • Develop, maintain, and improve documentation for operational processes, Go Live procedures, and delivery standards.
  • Promote consistent, repeatable practices that improve clarity, execution quality, and readiness across teams.

What you have


To ensure that we have fulfilled our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in technical program or project management within infrastructure, platform environments.
  • Strong technical foundation supporting enterprise infrastructure and operations, including OS lifecycle management and patching.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex initiatives through influence, without direct authority.
  • Proven experience coordinating cross functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical complexity into actionable plans.
  • Familiarity with production readiness models, Go Live processes, and release coordination. Experience working within agile or PI planning frameworks.
  • Programming Proficiency: Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or Java for automation tasks using any language
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the enterprise Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including domain knowledge in one or more of the following
  • Source Control Management (SCM) including Git & GitHub workflows, and the value of DevOps & DevSecOps
  • Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins) for continuous integration and deployment practices.
  • Manage and maintain GitHub Actions, including self-hosted runners, autoscaling, secure execution environments, and workflow orchestration.
  • Proficiency in managing Kubernetes clusters using tools such as kubectl, Rancher & Helm.
  • Administer, maintain, and monitor the Kubernetes clusters and hardware infrastructure
  • Design and manage the Kubernetes cluster layout, resources, and storage
  • Monitor and optimize Kubernetes resources, such as pods, nodes, and namespaces.
  • In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
