- Serve as a hands-on technical leader,owning design and implementation of critical components.
- Drive clean, efficient, and well-structured system design with a strong emphasis on scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Break down complex technical and business problems into simple, pragmatic solutions and guide the team through execution.
- Provide technical direction, mentorship, and code reviews to ensure high engineering standards across the team.
- Collaborate effectively with product managers, architects, and engineering leaders to align solutions with business goals.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrate strong listening skills, ask insightful questions, and foster constructive technical discussions.
- Apply strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills to drive timely issue resolution.
- Champion best practices in software engineering, including testing, observability, security, and performance.
- Stay current with technology trends and evaluate existing, new, and emerging technologies for practical adoption.
- Advocate for and help evolve platform principles, architectural standards, and development guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design and development of highperformance, lowlatency trading systems, including execution posting, TRF reporting.
- Build and evolve distributed, multithreaded services using C# .NET / .NET Core, focusing on scalability, resiliency, and performance in highthroughput environments.
- Design and implement eventdriven architectures leveraging Kafka, Ultra Messaging, and similar messaging technologies to support realtime data processing and system integration.
- Develop and optimize data persistence and caching strategies using SQL Server, Aerospike, MongoDB, or similar data stores.
- Act as a fullstack Tech Lead, providing handson development, technical direction, code reviews, and mentorship to ensure engineering excellence.
- Apply modern cloud and platform technologies (AWS, GCP, PCF) and CI/CD practices to enable rapid, reliable delivery.
- Champion testdriven development and engineering best practices, ensuring code quality, observability, and operational stability.
- Collaborate closely with product, architecture, and business partners in an Agile/Scrum environment, contributing to architectural decisions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Apply experience with AI technologies, including GitHub Copilot and AIassisted development tools, to accelerate development, improve code quality, and enhance testing and documentation—while validating AIgenerated output.
- Proven handson experience within Trading Technology environments is essential.

What you have


Required Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of C# .NET / .NET Core and objectoriented programming principles
- Strong understanding of Ultra Messaging concepts within highperformance distributed architectures
- Strong expertise in Aerospike data modeling and eventsourcing–based system design
- Proven ability to design and lead advanced support and operational processes for highperformance trading systems, mentoring engineers to optimize functionality, resiliency, and security.
- Strong expertise in TRF reporting workflows for executed trades.
- Strong proficiency in leveraging GitHub Copilot as an AIpowered coding assistant
- Handson experience building and supporting distributed trading systems
- Handson experience with troubleshooting, performance tuning, and operational analysis

Preferred Qualifications


- Handson experience implementing telemetry and monitoring solutions with Splunk
