In this role, part of the Risk Technology team, you’ll design and deliver scalable, enterprise-grade applications that support millions of retirement plan participants and critical risk-management workflows, including Risk calculation, Credit limit algorithm processing, Credit violations reporting, and regulatory reporting. You’ll partner with engineers, architects, product teams, and business stakeholders to modernize critical systems, improve user experiences, strengthen integrations, and enhance platform stability, performance, and resilience.

The Corporate Credit Research Technology Team supports credit risk planning across the corporation and its subsidiaries, including our bank and broker dealers. Your expertise in Enterprise Architecture/System Design, C#/.NET Core, Artificial Intelligence, Angular/TypeScript, RESTful Services, SQL, and Application Performance & Scalability will be central to delivering secure, high-quality solutions for risk calculation engines, credit exposure analysis, credit limit decisioning, exception monitoring, and regulatory reporting capabilities.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

What you have

Required Qualifications:

• Demonstrated expertise in Enterprise Architecture/System Design, including scalable services, architecture patterns, modern platforms, and working knowledge of Domain Driven Design for high-volume financial risk applications such as Risk calculation and Credit limit algorithm platforms.
• Proven ability to leverage C#/.NET Core to build, modernize, and enhance enterprise applications supporting credit exposure workflows, Credit violations reporting, and operational risk controls while maintaining reliability, maintainability, and performance.
• Demonstrated ability to learn, evaluate, and apply Artificial Intelligence technologies and AI-enabled developer tools to enhance engineering productivity, improve software quality, and drive innovation.
• Exposure to Angular/TypeScript to deliver responsive, modern web applications and user experiences that support business-critical workflows.
• Proven expertise in RESTful Services/API Development to enable secure, scalable integrations across internal and external platforms.
• Strong SQL and Relational Database Development skills used to support transaction processing, risk data aggregation, credit limit calculations, exception tracking, and backend service integration.
• Demonstrated ability to improve Application Performance & Scalability by optimizing system stability, resilience, availability, and customer experience for time-sensitive risk calculation, reporting, and analytics workloads at scale.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively, influence stakeholders, and collaborate across cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience applying Domain Driven Design principles to enterprise application architecture, preferably within credit risk, regulatory reporting, or financial controls domains.
• Experience with modern authentication and authorization frameworks, including OAuth 2, SAML, and JWT.
• Experience implementing web accessibility standards and inclusive user experiences.
• Experience utilizing test-driven and behavior-driven development approaches to improve software quality.
• Experience participating in Agile and Scrum-based software delivery teams.
• Passion for evaluating emerging technologies and translating innovation into measurable business value for risk analytics, credit decisioning, compliance, and reporting capabilities.
