As a Senior Manager of Financial Crimes Reporting you will report directly to the Director of Business Operations and Reporting located within Financial Crimes Risk Management (FCRM) organization. The Senior Manager will play a critical role in leading FCRM reporting efforts, managing a risk metric program aligned with the second-line expectations, and ensuring clear and actionable insights are presented to governance committees and senior leadership.

This role is focused on the coordination, collection, and analysis of Financial Crimes Risk Management (FCRM) department metrics and compiling data for presentation to executive leadership and board level risk committees. The FCRM department metrics and reports are subject to regulatory and internal audit review and serve as a mechanism to advise senior leadership of emerging areas of focus for the firm. Thus, the Senior Manager will be responsible for documenting unique trends that impact our Fraud, BSA/AML, OFAC, and Conduct programs. The role will require an ability to think strategically about risk and a passion for identifying ways to enhance analytics and metrics visualization as it applies to the data used for management reporting. It will also require an ability to present findings and conclusions in a concise manner for executive leadership consumption. This role also requires strong risk management, governance, and stakeholder engagement skills. This individual will work closely with first-line risk teams and second-line oversight functions to drive effective visibility, reporting, and discussions.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to

  • Develop and maintain executive-level reports and dashboards for governance committees, risk working groups, and senior leadership discussions.

  • Summarize complex data sets across multiple domains and communicate findings/formulate recommendations to senior leaders and business partners.

  • Continuously improve reporting processes and quality to ensure our suite of reports are accurate, scalable to produce, and provide actionable analysis for the consumers.

  • Manage the risk metric program, ensuring continued alignment with second-line risk standards and enterprise-wide practices.

  • Define, refine, track, and report on metrics (e.g., Key Risk indicators, RAMM, KRAM) that reflect risk exposure.

  • Partner with first-line risk and second-line oversight functions to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and completeness of reporting.

  • Provide ad-hoc analysis on risk trends, emerging issues, and areas for improvement.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor on risk metrics and issue reporting topics.

  • Other metric and reporting related activities.

Required Qualifications

  • 5 - 7 years of experience in an applicable risk management environment preferably within financial crimes. Strong understanding of Fraud, AML and Global Sanctions regulations.

  • Experience in the financial services industry specifically working in a risk management function.

  • Experience using SQL for extracting and joining large, complex datasets.

  • Strong data visualization story telling.

  • Demonstrated leadership with the ability to influence and engage others to drive alignment towards business objectives.

  • Results-oriented and able to quickly sort through information and develop concise and clear strategies and actionable solutions.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues, assess cross-functional impacts, and develop roadmap-driven solutions aligned to long-term strategy. Demonstrated ability to run multiple tasks and successfully prioritize and meet target dates.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • A passion for financial crimes risk management and a desire to positively inspire change.

  • Strong process facilitation, project management, and analytical skills.

  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Office products including Excel and PowerPoint.
