Sr Manager, Digital Product Management
Your Opportunity
Charles Schwab's Digital Retail product team builds key experiences for clients and maintains digital channels for them to build
their wealth and manage their financial outcomes. We work, think and approach problems differently than your traditional
financial services firm, and we aim to change both how Schwab operates and how the industry serves investors. We collaborate
with user experience design, product, client service, operations, and technology teams across the enterprise to build digital
products and tools that clients love.
We are looking for a senior, high-expectation product partner who can help drive the Streamline & Simplify effort across Digital
Retail. This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, execution planning, partner alignment, and operational clarity. You
will help connect work across teams, translate strategic goals into actionable requirements, and ensure decisions are grounded
in client impact, data, technical feasibility, and enterprise alignment.
This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of Schwab's core digital experiences. You'll work across teams to connect
strategy to execution, create clarity in complex spaces, and help drive alignment as we simplify and modernize how clients
navigate, understand, and manage their accounts across Schwab.com and mobile.
What You’ll Do
• Help lead the evolution of Schwab's core account management experiences, including efforts focused on navigation,
account details, account selection, account grouping, and client summary experiences, working across teams to
reduce fragmentation and create more connected, scalable digital foundations.
• Support growth of the business by driving alignment across complex, cross-functional initiatives and net new products
and client segment experiences by bringing together product, technology, UX, and business partners around a shared
vision, clear priorities, and actionable plans.
• Partner closely with technology teams to shape solutions that balance business goals, client needs, and technical
realities, facilitating working sessions, negotiating requirements and tradeoffs, and helping teams arrive at practical,
scalable outcomes.
• Collaborate with UX and Creative Direction leaders to identify and champion shared patterns, standards, and
experience principles that can be leveraged across products and platforms, creating greater consistency while
reducing duplicated effort.
• Build strong partnerships with Product Managers across web and mobile, understanding the needs of individual
experiences while identifying dependencies, downstream impacts, and opportunities for broader alignment.
• Use data, research, and sound judgment to frame problems, evaluate opportunities, and support recommendations
that drive meaningful outcomes for clients and the business.
• Create clarity in ambiguous and dependency-heavy environments, helping teams navigate competing priorities, make
informed decisions, and move forward with confidence.
What you have
• 5+ years of product management experience, with significant experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives
in digital products or platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to operate at a senior level, creating alignment and driving outcomes in fast-paced, highly
visible, and dependency-heavy environments.
• Strong judgment in ambiguous situations, with a track record of navigating competing priorities, influencing decisions,
and balancing short-term needs with long-term goals.
• Confidence leading cross-functional groups, including product, engineering, UX, and business partners, and aligning
stakeholders at multiple levels around a shared path forward.
• A systems-thinking mindset, with the ability to identify dependencies, downstream impacts, and opportunities for
greater consistency, scale, and simplification across experiences.
• Solid technical acumen, including:
o Ability to facilitate discussions around requirements, feasibility, tradeoffs, and implementation approaches
with technology teams.
o Familiarity with APIs, integrations, system dependencies, and platform constraints.
o Comfort partnering with engineers to shape scalable solutions without directly owning development teams.
• Experience with Everest and the FEC process is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree required.
