The Workplace Services Strategy, Planning and Analytics department identifies and evaluates strategic business and market opportunities, analyzes industry, client, and market trends, and develops strategic recommendations that support enterprise objectives. The department facilitates strategic, business and portfolio planning across Workplace and is responsible for delivering data, analytics and insights to the organization.

The Senior Manager, Business Strategy is an individual contributor role, reporting to the Head of Workplace Strategy, Planning & Analytics. The role will be responsible for:

• Conducting competitive intelligence and industry analysis and understanding the strategic implications of key developments in the external environment
• Leading strategic project engagements that drive business growth, evaluating new market opportunities, analyzing and framing strategic alternatives, and assessing strategic partnerships
• Conducting customer research, market sizing, economic analysis, financial modeling, and business and operational assessments to inform proposed strategies.
• Developing high impact analysis, facilitating business case development, and presenting to sr. leaders
• Support development of QERs and other presentations that communicate business performance and outcomes
• Supporting Chief of Staff functions for the Head of Strategy, Planning & Analytics

What you have

To ensure that we fulfill our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.

Required Qualifications:

• 3 + year of experience in Workplace Services is preferred
• 5 years’ work experience in strategy, ideally with a top-tier consulting firm or strategy group within a financial services firm.
• Financial services experience, including 401k, financial markets, and/or the fee-based investment advisory market

Preferred Qualifications: 

• MBA and/or post-graduate education preferred
• Self-motivated, results-oriented individual with strong teamwork skills
• Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to develop concise and effective communications tailored to specific audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High agility and ability to lead with a “growth mindset,” an activator who can influence and deliver results across multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and matrixed environment.
• Strong visual storyteller and experienced PowerPoint user who can weave a narrative that is concise, compelling, and tailored to specific audiences.
• Strong project management skills and ability to facilitate groups and influence individuals across a range of tenures and working styles.
• Comfort in a dynamic and fast-moving work environment.
