The Sr. Manager, CS&S Participant Services Business Analysis role will focus on Participant Services (PS) key projects and initiatives designed to improve the participant experience, drive business goals and objectives, create efficiencies, and reduce costs and risk to the firm. The Sr. Manager will collaborate with internal partners to develop enhanced processes, drive implementation planning and execution, field communications, and reporting activities to execute assigned initiatives. The People Leader role will also oversee a team of other Business Analysts.

What you have


To ensure that we fulfill our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.

Required Qualifications:

  • Extensive expertise in specialized areas of Participant Services operations and procedures
  • 36+ months of experience working on the Participant Services Business Analysis team
  • Bachelor’s Degree or work equivalent preferred
  • Series 7 and 63 or equivalent
  • Series 24
  • 36+ months of Participant Services experience
  • 24+ months of People Leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Strong client focus (internal and external), an understanding of client needs and workflow, and an ability to communicate these needs to internal partners including Schwab senior management
  • Superior follow-up, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Superior listening skills to better understand internal client needs
  • Ability to weigh multiple stakeholder perspectives, escalate issues, and drive timely and effective decision-making
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strategic mindset and approach
  • Ability to adapt and implement changes as market and business conditions evolve
  • Ability to analyze business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and build plan to execute on changes
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage concurrent projects
  • Ability to identify and solve complex issues in a team environment working with various levels of management and business partners
  • Proactivity with creating efficiencies and improving the participant experience
  • Team-oriented with the ability to act as a resource for development of the team’s effectiveness
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
