Senior Manager, Strategy & Initiatives – Retail Sales Effectiveness
The Senior Manager, Strategy & Initiatives – Retail Sales Effectiveness is responsible for advancing initiatives that improve the productivity, consistency, and client impact of retail sales teams. This role translates field insights, business priorities, and partner feedback into actionable recommendations, requirements, and implementation plans that support scalable improvements across the retail organization. The Senior Manager will partner closely with cross-functional partners to drive measurable improvements in sales effectiveness and client experience. This role will report to the Managing Director, Field Operations.
Responsibilities include:
Gather, synthesize, and communicate voice-of-the-field insights from sales professionals and leaders to identify themes, clarify business needs, and inform recommendations that improve sales processes, tools, and client engagement.
Partner with product, platform, AI, and rep experience teams to translate field needs into clear business process requirements, prioritize opportunities, and advocate for practical, scalable solutions that support the retail sales organization.
Support structured feedback mechanisms and recurring forums that connect field professionals, leaders, and product partners, ensuring feedback is organized, actionable, and tied to business priorities.
Lead and coordinate cross-functional initiatives that improve sales effectiveness, including defining scope, aligning stakeholders, exploring solutions, managing timelines, tracking risks, and communicating progress against expected outcomes.
Partner with enablement and field leadership to support adoption of sales processes, tools, and capabilities through field-ready programs, clear communication, and practical implementation support.

Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships and collaborate across field leadership, product, platform, enablement, operations, and other cross-functional partners.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex information, frame recommendations, and create clear materials for leaders and business partners.
Effective presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to tailor messages for field audiences, business partners, and senior leaders.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with the ability to identify themes, evaluate tradeoffs, and support data-informed decisions.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, track progress, surface risks, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to influence partners, peers, and leaders without direct authority while maintaining accountability for initiative progress and outcomes.
Curious, adaptable, and forward-thinking, with a continuous improvement mindset and willingness to learn new tools, processes, and business areas.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
7+ years of relevant experience in strategy, consulting, sales operations, product management, client experience, field enablement, or related business roles.
Experience leading or coordinating cross-functional initiatives, including managing scope, stakeholders, timelines, risks, communications, and deliverables.
Experience developing business process requirements, recommendations, implementation plans, or decision materials for leaders and business partners.
Proven ability to influence partners, peers, and leaders without direct authority in a matrixed environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Financial services, wealth management, retail branch, or sales effectiveness experience preferred.
Experience working with field leaders, sales professionals, product teams, enablement partners, or technology/platform teams.
Experience supporting adoption, change management, communications, or implementation planning for new tools, processes, or capabilities.
Comfort working in a complex, dynamic environment with evolving priorities, ambiguity, and multiple stakeholders.
Proactive, collaborative working style with strong judgment, follow-through, and a continuous improvement mindset.
In addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
