Schwab’s Brand Team is driven by a deep commitment to integrity, clarity, and trust. We steward one of the most respected brands in financial services by helping people feel confident in their financial futures and ensuring Schwab shows up consistently and authentically wherever customers engage with us.

As Senior Manager, Brand Digital Strategy, you will serve as the digital product owner for Brand, translating brand strategy into scalable, system-ready digital experiences across platforms, products, and channels. Sitting within the Brand organization, this role is the connective tissue between brand strategy, brand governance, and digital execution.

You will partner closely with design system, UX, publishing, and platform teams to ensure brand standards are not just defined, but operationalized and consistently applied across Schwab’s evolving digital ecosystem, including Beacon and Everest. This role is about ownership, integration, and scale, not project-based delivery.

What You’ll Do

Translate Brand into Digital Experiences

  • Convert brand strategy, visual systems, and experience principles into clear digital implementation requirements.
  • Ensure brand intent is preserved across color, typography, imagery, layout, and interaction patterns within digital environments.

Own Brand as a Digital Product

  • Act as the digital product owner for Brand across enterprise digital initiatives.
  • Define and prioritize capabilities that enable scalable brand implementation, including design system components, UI patterns, CMS templates, and reusable frameworks.

Align with Enterprise Design Systems

  • Partner with Beacon, Everest, and broader design system teams to align brand standards with system components and implementation patterns.
  • Ensure brand evolution remains compatible with modern, flexible digital architectures.

Drive Cross-Functional Integration

  • Serve as the primary Brand representative across UX, digital retail, platform, publishing, and technology teams.
  • Facilitate alignment, resolve implementation challenges, and support clear decision-making across a complex stakeholder landscape.

Operationalize Brand Guidelines

  • Translate brand guidelines into actionable, system-ready specifications that digital teams can adopt with confidence.
  • Help evolve brand guidance based on real-world digital implementation needs and platform constraints.

Enable Consistency at Scale

  • Reinforce cohesive brand expression across Schwab’s digital ecosystem, from product interfaces to marketing environments.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce fragmentation through reusable standards and scalable components.

Lead Change and Adoption

  • Support adoption of refreshed brand standards across digital channels.
  • Guide teams through change by clarifying expectations, enabling adoption, and reinforcing consistent application.

Create a Continuous Feedback Loop

  • Establish ongoing feedback between Brand and digital delivery teams.
  • Use insights from implementation to inform improvements to brand systems, assets, and priorities.

What you have

To ensure that we have fulfilled our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience working in creative, brand, digital product management, UX, or design teams, with a proven ability to operate at the intersection of these disciplines
  • Deep understanding of enterprise digital ecosystems, including CMS platforms, design systems, front-end frameworks, and publishing workflows
  • Demonstrated experience translating brand strategy and visual systems into scalable digital implementations (e.g., tokens, components, templates, interaction patterns)
  • Experience working within or alongside design systems (e.g., component libraries, token structures, pattern libraries) and understanding how brand integrates into them
  • Strong knowledge of accessibility, responsive design, and modern UX principles
  • Familiarity with emerging AI-driven experiences, personalization systems, and content automation and their implications on brand consistency
  • Proven ability to lead and influence across highly matrixed organizations, aligning stakeholders across brand, product, UX, and technology
  • Exceptional ability to translate between strategic intent and technical execution

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Systems Thinking: Ability to manage interconnected systems rather than isolated outputs
  • Brand-to-Digital Translation: Expertise in converting abstract brand principles into tangible digital requirements
  • Product Mindset: Ability to define roadmaps, prioritize capabilities, and think in terms of scalable solutions
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Skilled at aligning diverse teams without direct authority
