Design, build, and maintain automated testing frameworks for the Cloud Infrastructure supporting our conversational AI platform migration. Develop and execute automated and manual tests for new conversational flows to ensure accurate, intuitive, and high-quality customer experiences. Create robust test suites for newly implemented features and perform comprehensive regression testing on existing backend applications within the conversational platform. Collaborate with product and development teams to translate detailed requirements into thorough test plans, test cases, and quality metrics. Implement end-to-end, integration, and API automation tests for new features, ensuring high software quality standards. Support the incremental modernization of the platform infrastructure by integrating automated tests into continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Actively participate in the production change management process by certifying builds, executing post-deployment validation, and signing off on feature readiness. Investigate and triage defects, analyze test failures to identify root causes, and provide secondary support to reproduce and diagnose system outages. Review test automation code and provide constructive feedback to ensure maintainability and adherence to quality engineering best practices. Guide and mentor junior SDETs and QA analysts.

What you have


Technical Skills & Process Knowledge

  • Strong proficiency with Appium for mobile test automation

  • Strong proficiency with the Cucumber test automation framework

  • Hands-on coding experience in Java or other object-oriented languages

  • Working knowledge of XCUI (iOS) and/or Espresso (Android)

  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (Jira, Zephyr, or similar)

  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and ceremonies

  • Understanding of mobile development lifecycles (iOS/Android)

  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices (Bitrise or GitHub Actions)

Education & Experience

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 3–5 years of mobile application testing (iOS/Android) experience, with 3+ years in test automation

Core Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with strategic thinking ability

  • Ability to explore and adopt industry trends in Quality Engineering and tools

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences

  • Proven ability to coordinate and collaborate with geographically distributed teams

  • Self-motivated; works effectively both independently and collaboratively

PREFERRED

  • Experience using AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Cursor) for test development

  • Knowledge of performance testing tools and methodologies

  • Familiarity with security testing and data compliance requirements

  • Experience in the financial services industry or with trading platforms

  • Experience with Kotlin and/or Swift programming languages

  • Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers
