On the Action Center team, we are building and supporting new solutions to provide simple, guided digital experiences to efficiently service clients’ accounts at Schwab. We are transforming the support model by delivering a robust experience and orchestration platform to digitize transactions and workflows across business functions. As a member of the team, you need to be passionate about quality and support the high-quality culture across the organization. You will need strong technical skills and knowledge, you will need to work closely with your team to understand testing requirements, and you will build strong partnerships with developers and architects across several teams.
•Above all else you’re an engineer and a full stack tester. You solve problems through automation. You’re curious and hungry to learn new things and look to make a long-lasting impact on the project.
•Testing complex systems: web applications (Angular/React) and data (SQL/NoSQL
•Build automation frameworks to increase reuse and reduce effort
•Set and communicate automation strategies and processes for web services, APIs, middleware, UI etc., evaluate and implement software test automation tools and tooling standards
•Increase automation cycle execution run times and decrease manual analysis of results
•Recommend meaningful and automated dynamic reports and metrics that measure the success of automation efficiency and quality, and provide action items for continuous improvements
•Partner with cross-functional teams to build, refine and test user stories.
•Working with project team members for testing activities, participating in Requirements Ambiguity, Use Case/User Story Reviews, and conducting QA analysis and test support activities.
•You’re lifelong learner. You’re able to grasp difficult concepts and complex designs and stay on top of new and emerging technologies.
What you have

Required Qualifications
•6+ years of strong, demonstrable experience working as software developer or SDET using Ruby, C# or Java programming language
•Experience writing automation testing for web applications using Selenium, Bruno, Cucumber, JMeter
•Experience in the design of a scalable and maintainable automation framework and testing of RESTful Web Services.
•Experience with modern JavaScript UI frameworks like Angular and React
•Experience testing RESTful web using test automation frameworks. Ability to parse nested JSON/ XML. SOAP experience a plus.
•Ability to prepare and execute test plans, test scenarios, test cases, data setup, bug reporting, test evaluation summary report and communication of status/metrics.
•Experience in Selenium IDE and WebDriver, Sauce Labs, JavaScript, Java/.NET programming and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
•Experience working in CI/CD environment and DevOps tools like Bamboo, Github, Bitbucket, Jenkins
•Experience with the Atlassian toolset (Jira, Confluence, Zephyr Tests)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with .Net core, Angular, MongoDB is preferred
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or similar areas of study
Financial Services experience is a strong plus
