This position is for a Salesforce development technical lead, responsible for guiding a team of developers and implementing innovative solutions that support our business. The Sales and Service Technology team is a forward leaning development organization that leverages agile methodologies. The position will be responsible for solution architecture, design, implementation, testing, and support of Salesforce components within the Sales and Service Technology portfolio. This position will interact with business stakeholders and technology counterparts across many areas within Schwab.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with agile team members.
- Provide creative solutions via the application of Salesforce technology in a highly dynamic environment.
- Implement software to meet functional requirements as well as being robust, fault tolerant, and 24x7x365 available.
- Provide expertise in web based, distributed, and cloud based computing application development.
What you have

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
- 4 - 8 years’ Salesforce design and development experience working across the full development and operational support life cycle
- Expertise in Salesforce Configuration & Administration, Workflow, Triggers, Process Builders, Visualforce, Apex coding and batch
- Experience with Lighting Web Component development and integration
- Understanding of Salesforce Communities and Managed Packages (Engageware, Conga) a plus.
- Experience integrating SOAP and RESTful Web Services is a plus.
- Knowledge of software design patterns
- Experience working with geographically distributed teams, working collaboratively across team boundaries
- Demonstrated ability to work alone or in a group while multi-tasking on different projects
- Working knowledge of the Agile/Scrum development methodology a plus

- Software Design and Specifications -Developing software solutions that meet requirements using established design principles and standards, employing predictive or adaptive design techniques, including plan-driven or iterative/agile approaches.

- Software Development - Implementing standards, processes, and methods to create, test, and verify software components, ensuring reliability and resolving operational problems and bugs
- Software Release and Deployment -Managing the deployment of software updates while ensuring compliance with safety, security, and quality standards
- System Design and Architecture - Implementing concepts for system design, ensuring compatibility with cloud architectures, and utilizing adaptive approaches for lifecycle models and methodologies
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
