We service the most active clients at Charles Schwab, trading various products using complex strategies. The group supports clients through education about investment strategies, trading tools, and market mechanics. Your primary responsibility will be direct client contact. You will also be responsible for utilizing your experience, product knowledge, and licensing to act as a subject matter expert as well as acting as an escalation point for clients and your peers. You will be expected to partner with your manager to develop the professionals around you and act as a mentor and leader in their training and development. You must have a demonstrated track record of discussing complex trading, risk management, financial markets, investing principles, and trading systems with both Retail clients and peers.

- Advanced understanding of complex Schwab® product and service offerings
- Proficient in written and verbal communications

- Consistently utilizes broad SME knowledge to support team/department
- Leveraging B2E tools and Innovative Mindset to drive positive change for clients and teammates
- Proactively identifies development opportunities and assists in the development of others
- Shows consistent independent ownership and resolution of work, including unique and complex issues
- Leverages rapport and EQ to de-escalate complex or negative Client situations using EDGE model
- Proactively uses Situational Awareness to guide peers
What you have
To ensure that we fulfill our promise of “challenging the status quo,” this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.
Required:
- Active FINRA Series 7 & 63 or 66 licenses
- Active FINRA Series 9 & 10 licenses
- 2 years CS&S experience
- Proven experience working collaboratively, improving productivity, and implementing ideas
Preferred:
- Completed all prerequisites as laid out in the Licensed Core Career Pathway Program
- Capable of working well with diverse groups and individuals while exhibiting emotional intelligence in an ever-changing environment
- An individual with high attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and possessing a strong work ethic with a high level of integrity
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
