Investment Consultant, Employee Branch

This position is part of the Employee Branch which is primarily responsible for providing financial planning guidance to Schwab’s employees, and their families to meet their financial needs. Comprehensive financial planning and wealth management on behalf of our employees includes, but is not limited to retirement planning, education planning, investment management, estate planning, equity compensation, deferred compensation, active investing, banking, insurance, and lending needs. In this role, Investment Consultants provide guidance built upon the firm’s philosophy, policies, and guidelines in meeting the needs of our employees.
What you have
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is required, or relevant work experience.
- Active and valid FINRA Series 7 license is required
- Active and valid FINRA Series 66 (63/65) license is required (license(s) may be obtained under a condition of employment)
- Proven success in developing and managing client relationships
- Strong industry and market knowledge
Preferred Qualifications:
- CFP preferred
- Portfolio level advice experience preferred
- Knowledge of Schwab benefits preferred
- Excellent consultative, interpersonal and communication skills
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus opportunities.
