Whatyou’lldo:
As ourPrincipal Architect, you will need to be a self-starter who partners well with others. This role is all about getting the job done, so you have a can/will do mentality about all tasks associated with getting phenomenal code out the door. You prioritize mentoring yourteammatesand you ask for help when needed. What you have
- Youpossessan exacting attention to detail and the talent and enthusiasm for producing highly usable and scalable web software solutions using advanced development technologies
- You are a proven communicator with technology and business partners at various levels
- You are comfortable solving problems in a dynamic customer-focused team environment that uses the newest technologies and techniques
Required:
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with 3-5+ years in an Architecture role.
- Proven experience designing large-scale, high-TPS, mission-critical web applications.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, domain-driven design, and event-driven architectures.
- Expert knowledge ofmicroservicesarchitecture patterns and service decomposition.
- Strong API designexpertise(REST,gRPC,GraphQL).
- Experience designing multi-region,highly available, fault-tolerant systems.
- Strong understanding of caching, load balancing, service mesh, and traffic management.
- Expertise inperformance engineering, scalability, and capacity planning.
- Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS or Azure accepted).
- Experience designing cloud-native applications using containers and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager,Pulumi).
- Experience with observability platforms including logging, monitoring, tracing, and alerting.
- Ability to balance business priorities, technical debt, cost, scalability, and risk.
- Proven ability to influence engineering leaders, product leaders, and executives without direct authority.
Preferred:
- Experience integrating AI/ML services into customer-facing applications.
- Working knowledge ofC# and.NETCore development
- Knowledge of LLMs, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and AI orchestration frameworks.
- Experience with platform modernization, micro-frontends, and cloud migrations.
- Financial services or highly regulated industry experience.
- Track recordof delivering platforms that meet aggressive growth, performance, and reliabilityobjectives.
- Understanding ofAI governance, security, privacy, and responsible AI practices.
- Understanding ofAgile software development principles, includingexperienceparticipatingin a Scrum-based delivery team
