Schwab is seeking a Senior Manager, Cohort Marketing, to develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that resonate with distinct client cohorts, driving engagement, acquisition, and retention.
This pivotal role involves translating business objectives into actionable marketing plans, ensuring our value proposition is effectively communicated across target audiences and channels. You will leverage insights to craft compelling strategies, optimize program reach and effectiveness through thoughtful collaboration, and foster strong, trusted relationships with business partners to achieve our goals and objectives.
What You'll Do:
- Audience Expertise: Cultivate a deep understanding of specific client cohort needs and behaviors, acting as the primary audience expert to inform and shape marketing strategies across the organization.
- Integrated Campaign Leadership: Lead the development and execution of marketing campaigns and tactics tailored to distinct client cohorts. Oversee the creation and implementation of integrated marketing plans across various channels (e.g., digital, email, social, content), ensuring consistent and compelling messaging.
- End-to-End Project Management: Manage initiatives through all phases of development, from creative brief through production and launch, collaborating effectively with a wide range of stakeholders including subject matter experts, business leaders, legal, and compliance.
- Cross-Functional Partnership & Influence: Build and maintain strong, collaborative partnerships with internal teams (e.g., creative agency, client experience, digital, data driven communications, field enablement) to ensure seamless execution, alignment of marketing efforts, and shared success. Effectively present strategies, plans, and creative to partners and executives, gaining trust and buy-in in cross-functional forums and executive committees.
- Performance Optimization: In partnership with analytics teams, leverage insights and data to rigorously monitor marketing performance, analyze results, and continuously optimize strategies and campaigns for maximum impact and ROI.
What you have

Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 8+ years of progressive marketing experience, with a strong focus on digital and email marketing. Experience within financial services or other regulated industries is highly valued.
- Strategic & Analytical Acumen: Proven ability to translate complex business goals into clear, actionable marketing strategies. Demonstrated expertise in leveraging client insights, data, and analytics to inform strategy, drive decision-making, and continuously optimize performance.
- Communication & Influence: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for crafting compelling narratives and effectively influencing partners and leaders across all levels. Possesses a strong creative eye and meticulous attention to detail.
- Collaborative Partnership: Strong interpersonal skills and a proven track record of building and nurturing exceptional working partnerships across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Organizational & Project Management: Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple complex initiatives and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive & Accountable: A proactive, adaptable, and self-motivated individual with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and a continuous improvement mindset.
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
