As a mid-level iOS developer, you provide guidance on the development and maintenance of Charles Schwab's flagship thinkorswim® iOS application! In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a team of talented engineers, on one of the most sophisticated trading platforms in the world, built on a codebase we are constantly updating with the latest and greatest industry standards.​

key Responsibilities

​​• Good understanding of socket based connectivity and Mobtr
• Good understanding of TOS mobile charting library
• Interpreting designs and converting them to usable features in the thinkorswim app
• Helping support the team with bug fixes, code maintenance, testing, debugging, and documentation
• Providing analysis of problems and recommending solutions
• Working in conjunction with business analysts or more senior developers on product solutions
• Implementing and maintaining application software throughout the full code life-cycle 
• Understanding and resolving mobile security issues
• Working with asynchronous, non-blocking interactions​

What you have

Required Qualifications

​​▪ Good understanding of socket based connectivity and Mobtr protocol
▪ Good understanding of the TOS Mobile charting library
▪ Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues using best practices to support live applications
▪ Prioritizes compliance, security, and scalability of data systems
▪ Executes strategies to restore services promptly and address disruptions
▪ Addresses QA challenges by applying best practices in testing and compliance
▪ Validates requirements and constraints to support effective development and operations
▪ Monitors and addresses security policy violations using best practices
▪ Resolves software design challenges using predictive and adaptive methods
▪ Applies best practices to build, test, and validate software components while resolving issues
▪ Consolidates software changes into secure, stable releases using best practices
▪ Ensures systems align with cloud architectures using modern design methodologies​
